Community Hub - Wellness Channel Event

Welcome to the Wellness Channel! This first event will be a 35 minute breath work and meditation session hosted by Renewed Living Yoga, meant to bring a little calm to the middle of your day! Learn some new skills you can take away in to the rest of your week and don't worry if you can't make it! We will be recording the session so you can still find some zen on your own time. The recording will be available until the next breath work and meditation session next Tuesday :)

Sessions will be hosted by Lacey Lloyd of Renewed Living Yoga โ€“ here is a little bit about Lacey Lloyd and Renewed Living Yoga in her own words:

"My name is Lacey Lloyd, Iโ€™m from Gull Lake, SK and I teach yoga and breath work full time. I have a deep passion and dedication for sharing yoga, meditation and breath work with many people because I fully believe in the efficacy of these thousands of years old practices. I have had my own bouts with addiction, depression, anxiety, stress and chronic pain and I can say proudly and definitively that my personal practice (yoga, meditation, breath work, and other wellness practices) is what saved my life. In short, yoga and meditation brought me back home to my body and breath work made that home a safe place. My classes are a mix of standing, seated and supine postures intended to challenge the body as well as the mind in a myriad of ways.

We work on balance, core strength, flexibility, mobility, as well as proprioceptive and interoceptive connections. I believe in creating classes that are both challenging but also accessible to the bodies that show up. I make a point to offer modifications for each pose to accommodate the different levels of practitioner who attend making my sequences appealing to beginners as well as more experienced students. These practices can help you manage feelings of anxiety, stress, mental chaos, disconnection with self/body, transitioning you into feeling calmer, connected, and content both physically and mentally. The best part is itโ€™s easy to take these practices home and use them every day to keep yourself grounded, and I can show you how. Qualifications/Education: 325 YTT hours in Ashtanga 200 YTT hours in Advanced Ashtanga Practicum in Pause Meditative Breathwork Facilitator, Currently Enrolled in Yoga Psychology."
