What is the Megaphone Series? A speaker series seeking to amplify diverse voices in our community! We recognize that marginalized artists face many barriers in their art careers that have a deep effect on their physical and mental wellbeing. We hope to learn from artists who have made space for themselves in a system that is often not equitable.

Meet our first speaker! Teresa Tam!

Teresa will talk about how tacos, persistent obsession with objects, K-pop girl groups, and building friendships before professional connections helped her navigate through the early post-BFA years. She will also share moments and words she acquired during her time as a student and how they continue to accompany her today.
