HOW TO REGISTER
Registration for Sled Island 2024 is now open! We use Shiftboard as our volunteer platform, and all new and returning volunteers must register/re-register on Shiftboard (https://www.shiftboard.com/SledIsland/register.html)
If you are a returning volunteer, you must still register in order to capture any changes in your contact information, and so you can review and sign off on our 2024 volunteer handbook, volunteer declaration and safer spaces policy.
If you are a new volunteer, please allow some time for us to process your application.
Once your registration has been approved, you will receive a welcome letter outlining the next steps.
COMMITMENT AND PERKS
To earn a Sled Island Discovery pass, we require a commitment of 16 volunteer hours pre-festival or during the festival. To earn an All-Ages pass (only for volunteers aged 16 & 17), we require a commitment of 8 volunteer hours during the festival.
If a volunteer is unable to complete all 16 pre-festival hours prior to June 19, 2024 and still wants to earn a Discovery pass, they must join a new crew to complete their remaining required hours during the festival.
All volunteers completing their hours receive a Sled Island volunteer t-shirt, a festival pass, passholder discounts at Sled Island's community partners, an invite to the Sled Island Wrap-Up Pig Roast, plus more perks to be announced!

CREWS
We have a wide range of crews that include venue, merch, security, production, venue manager, Artist Lounge, billets, Green Island, hospitality, pass pick-up, pre-fest, relief, transportation drivers and office runners.
Detailed steps on how to select a crew will be provided once registration is approved.
