Post Content: We are looking to add a Cinematographer to our growing team. As our Cinematographer, you will take photos and videos to creatively showcase our client’s products and services. Who are we? Trait is a full-service Canadian marketing agency, assisting clients across the nation with brand development, website design and development, marketing materials, social media management, and ongoing marketing support. We work with clients in a variety of industries including oil and gas, agriculture, construction, service, and non-profit. As our Cinematographer, a typical day might include some, or all, the following: • Shooting high quality photo and video footage with, or without, audio. • Reviewing footage to select the best material for a client’s brand. • Meeting with the Creative Director and a client to create a concept for their shoot. • Inserting sound effects, dialogue, graphics, special effects, or music into a final cut. ~ ~ ~ This job might be for you if: You love the idea of travelling throughout Alberta, to various client locations, to capture footage for our diverse blend of clients. You take pride in your work. You get excited at the thought of working with clients in a variety of industries. You can remain positive and tend to ‘go with the flow’ when faced with unexpected events. You are a relationship builder who enjoys getting to know clients. You like to stay current on photo and video trends. You tend to have a ‘do what it takes’ approach to your work. ~ ~ ~ To land this job you’ll need to be a creative individual who is comfortable using a variety of equipment to capture photography and videography. Ideally, you have your own equipment and you’re looking to supplement your current portfolio of work with steady ongoing work provided by us. Bonus points if you have a drone and your drone pilot’s license. You have a driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to travel to our client’s locations (typically throughout Alberta). ~ ~ ~ Are you the person for this job?
