Unamed Artist Collective Group Show: Indigenous Artists

Unnamed is an Indigenous artist collective based in Mohkinstsis, on Treaty 7 territory. Our collective came together- artists from all disciplines- to empower ourselves and our communities through workshops, programming, curating, and making/exhibiting works of art. Our artists and their ancestors come from all over Turtle Island.

Indigenous peoples can build the future we want in our own way. We have always been and always will be sovereign nations. We decide what is good for our children, and our land, and our languages, our culture, ourselves and our bodies. We have been our own government since time immemorial. We will do our best to continue to sew good relationships with everything and everyone.

The upcoming exhibition at The Bows is a group show, we are asking Indigenous artists to think about the futures we want to build for ourselves. We are accepting submissions of 2D/3D works about self-determination and agency.
