The AUArts SA Show + Sale is going virtual this summer, and we are looking for a Virtual Show + Sale Coordinator to help lead the project. This position will work with students, staff and our UX consultant to see the project through to its materialization in early June. If you are interested in event coordination, virtual commerce for artists, or career development, this is the position for you!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of an online sales platform via Shopify
- Work with our UX consultant on brand design and user interface for students
- Act as the main point of contact for participating students, including the creation of a student handbook and training workshops
- Act as the main point of contact for customers
- Work with internal and external communications partners to promote the event
Qualifications:
- Experience working in digital commerce or managing virtual commerce platforms
- Interest or experience with user interface design
- Experience managing projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Teams
- Prior experience working with Shopify an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals
The Details…
This is a paid contract position that requires approximately 10-hours per week. The contract will begin March 1, 2021 and finish on June 30, 2021, with the possibility of extension.
