Post Content: Common Digs is a social enterprise working to connect people to the natural world, and one of the ways we do this is through sustainable art created in our Remida based workshop. Remida is a cultural project of sustainability, creativity and research on waste materials. It promotes the idea that waste, the imperfect, is capable of offering itself as an educational and artistic resource. We are looking to form a partnership with Alberta University of the Arts, specifically with students who are passionate about sustainability and creating art using recycled materials.
We would love to have a focus on one medium or material such as fabric or sculpture. If you are passionate about creating art sustainably then Common Digs is perfect for you! Your art would be displayed throughout our workshop and used as an installation at our "Remida Day", giving you great opportunities to promote yourself as an artist as well as be a part of our eco-friendly community initiative. Our workshop and materials are FREE for you to use and we would love for you to become a part of our team. Please email myself jlist347@gmail.com for inquires.
