Location: Calgary

Applicants who will be attending a post-secondary institution in the Fall of 2023 and are to work the entire term (May 1 to August 25) are invited to apply for a summer position with Pembina Pipeline Corporation.

To be considered for a Summer Student position, applicants must be:
• Attending a post-secondary institution in the Fall of 2023;
• Be at least 18 years old;
• Must be available to work the entire term (May 1 to August 25);
• Students are eligible for 5 days vacation, must be approved by leader and are unpaid;
• Students are paid on the 10th and 25th of each month. Their first pay period is one pay period in arrears (eg: you start May 1 you are paid on May 25th)
• Students are paid based on how many years they have completed of post secondary school:
- Year 1 $20.48 per hour
- Year 2 $23.08 per hour
- Year 3 $26.54 per hour
- Year 4 or more $29.13 per hour

Group: Communications & Media affairs

Primary responsibilities:

• Create and design print and digital materials for internal client projects;
• Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline;
• Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media;
• Collaborate with Communication team members; and
• Receive feedback from Advisor, Visual Communication and make necessary changes.

What you will bring:

• Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, color, and other graphic design fundamentals;
• Strong creative and analytical skills. Great eye for detail;
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint);
• Familiar with print, digital production and file preparation;
• Strong communication and organization skills with the ability to manage timelines;
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills;
• A desire to learn and to help others; and
• Punctual, motivated and friendly.
