LUNAFEST

LUNAFEST is a film festival showing short films made by, and about women and non-binary individuals. This event provides people in Alberta with an opportunity to view films specifically made by women and gender diverse individuals, and to be able to spotlight different perspectives.

The event will start at 12pm, in-person at the U of C Foothills Campus , or online. We will be providing a discounted rates for members of the Golden Z Club* of Calgary, but there is an option for additional donation. Food and drink will be provided, as well as movie snacks. Tickets will be 7$ online for non-members, and 5$ for members. In person tickets will be 15$ for non-members, and 10$ for members of the Golden Z Club,. Tickets will be free for setup and takedown volunteers, but these spaces are limited!

All of the net proceeds from our event will be going to support the Women’s Centre of Calgary.

*The Golden Z Club of Calgary is a club dedicated to service and advocacy to uplift women to strive towards a society where women’s rights are recognized as human rights. We want to empower women not just on campus, but in the community as well through volunteering and hosting events.
