Post Content: TalkMaze offers online coaching to make quality education accessible and empower our students around the world. We are currently hiring new coaches who want to work with us and gain teaching experience. This job would be perfect for students with a background in speech and debate, and who wish to acquire teaching experience by working on evenings and weekends.
As a coach with TalkMaze, you will have the opportunity to help each of your students find their voice. Our comprehensive curriculum makes it easy to hit the ground running, with lessons and activities to help you engage children from early elementary to high school.
We are looking for enthusiastic and patient post-secondary students with exceptional communication skills. If you fit that description, we would love to have you on our team!

Have prior experience working with youth

Are comfortable working in a virtual environment
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience working with children aged 5-17
Prior coaching experience in debate or public speaking is an asset
Comfortable navigating various technological tools
Willingness to contribute to a team environment
Responsibilities:
Complete training on our curriculum and online teaching tools
Adapt lesson plans to the student’s age and skill level
Deliver at least 3-5 hours of coaching each week on evenings and weekends for a minimum of a 1-year contract
Communicate with students and parents regarding their progress
Create a welcoming virtual classroom environment for children of all ages
Each of our lessons runs for 40 minutes, and you will be compensated $15 for each lesson.
