Post Content: Camp White Pine, in Haliburton, ON, is hiring for multiple positions! 

We are looking for: 

Canoe Trip Leaders, responsible for guiding groups of campers and staff on overnight canoe camping trips. The trips vary in length from 1 - 3 nights, with the potential for some longer trips later in the summer. Canoe trip leaders handle all aspects of trip planning including route selection, meal planning, and all packing and pre-trip organization. On trip, they navigate, make site selection, teach campers how to set up the site and cook the meals, etc. They are wholly responsibly for the health and safety of all participants. All canoe trip leaders must have a minimum of Bronze Cross and Emergency First Aid with CPR-B. Wilderness First Aid Certification is preferred. Trips are mostly in flatwater areas. ORCKA certifications are an asset. 

Instructors to teach in our Creative Arts areas (arts & crafts, ceramics, glass, woodshop, copper enamelling). These positions are a fantastic way to work in a creative role in a fun work environment! Experience working with children preferred but not required. We provide training in the specific discipline for candidates who don't have specific experience (for example Copper enamelling) - all you need to bring is a strong creative background and interest in fine arts! 

Swim and Waterski Intructors to work on our beautiful waterfront! Waterski Instructor's must have PCOC, as well as Bronze Cross and CPR-B. Swim Instructors must have a current NLS, Lifesaving Society Lifesaving and Swim Instructors, and Emergency First Aid Instructors. 

Drama, Piano, and School of Rock! If you like musical theatre, dance, or teaching kids how to play new instruments, this is a great opportunity for the summer! 

We are also looking for candidates for other roles such as Administration and Dining Hall. These are great opportunities to try something new, work in an incredible setting in the outdoors, and get away from it all this summer! All training is provided. 

All our roles include full room and board for the period of employment. Competitive salaries.

Candidates must be Canadian citizens or have a valid work/study permit that allows full time summer employment, and a valid SIN number.
