Student Groups Coordinator
The Student Groups Coordinator will work with the Students’ Association and campus clubs, groups and galleries to coordinate funding options and support group needs. The Student Groups Coordinator will help student groups attain funding on a case-to-case basis, utilizing the Community Grants program.
Employment Type: Part-time, hourly wage (approx. 12 hours per week)
Contract Length: August 2022 – May 2023
Hourly Pay Range: $15 - $18 per hour depending on experience
Core Objectives
· Work with Programs Manager in creating effective management strategy of both the Community Grants program and student groups
· Oversee the Call of Applicants and adjudication of Community Grants
· Serve as the main point of contact for student groups and Community Grants inquiries
· Promote student group programming with the goal of supporting community engagement
· Support student groups in the submission of a grant report
· Write reports as requested to present to the Programs Manager and Executive Director on student groups and Community Grant performance
· Be able to work independently and cooperatively with members of the Students’ Association to ensure quality performance
· Complete other duties as assigned by the Programs Manager

Qualifications and Skills
· Time management and ability to balance multiple priorities
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to work collaboratively with student groups and the Students’ Association at large
· Ability to work equitably with all students and provide support as and when required
· Working knowledge of Microsoft suite and Squarespace considered an asset
