Post Content: The Social Collective is a non-profit organization (NPO) whose mission is to develop and support
community and social initiatives that address the needs of students and young adults aged 18 to 35
across Turtle Island/Canada. Our actions extend to post-secondary educational environments such as
colleges and universities and, more broadly, to any sphere of society and community settings where youth

The Social Collective is looking to recruit a Field Intern. The Field Intern will ensure successful execution
of projects within the Social Collective's scope, more specifically in the domain of sexual and
gender-based violence prevention. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to build
trust, and strong versatility and organizational skills.
The selected candidate must be available to start on September 2, 2024.

Key Responsibilities
● Conduct visits to potential partners for the Order an Angelot program, sometimes in hard-to-reach
locations, to present projects and establish collaborative relationships. This requires the ability to
travel independently over distances up to 10 km, where the use of a car is not possible.
● In collaboration with Support Officers, ensure regular follow-ups with current and potential
partners of the Order an Angelot program, mainly via email or phone, to maintain open
communication and track interest.
● Contribute to training new team members and act as a resource for colleagues.
● Support the deployment of the training offer established by the Social Collective among its
various partners.

Qualification Requirements
● Be enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program. The relevance of the internship to the
academic curriculum of the selected candidate must be attested by their educational institution.
● Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee.
● Have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving long distances.

Required Skills
● High awareness of social issues and their impact on young
people aged 18 to 35
● Comfortable with public speaking and ability to convey complex
information on sensitive topics in a clear and concise manner
● Dynamism and interpersonal skills
● Autonomy and initiative
● Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with changing priorities
● Good knowledge of English and French, both spoken and written (an asset)

Working Conditions
● Part-time position (14 hours a week), for a period of 33 weeks, from September 2 to
December 20, 2024; and from January 6 to May 2, 2025
● Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility to work evenings and weekends,
depending on project needs
● Work in hybrid mode, with regular travel (sometimes over several days) across the province
and/or Canada, depending on project needs (25 to 30% of the time)

Compensation and Benefits
● The salary is 20.00$ per hour

● A total of 6 paid personal days off
