Post Content: The Alberta Society of Artists invites all artists in Alberta (must be 18 years of age or older) to submit to the exhibition, “Consumerism: Social Definition”.

“Consumerism, the process of acquiring goods and services beyond basic needs, has become ingrained in our culture. Products we buy can shape our identity and social status, influencing our perceptions of self and others.
Consumerism also has measurable impacts on the environment and social values. This exhibition seeks to explore the impact of consumerism on our world and in our lives."

All artists, both emerging and established, working in all media including installation, sculpture, photography, fibre, painting, drawing, and mixed media are encouraged to apply.
