Diploma in architectural design (or equivalent) with minimum 2 years experience modelling and drafting
understanding and competency of AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, Sketchup, VRay, 3D Studio Max, or equivalency
modelling, object design, and animation/video editing software
Fabrication, object design knowledge and experience considered highly valuable
Inspires creativity, critical thought, and design excellence
Assists with conceptualizing a building design from both a technical and aesthetic perspective
Strong ability to sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others
knowledge of building construction systems, materials, and industry standards
Ability to learn new things, be mentored by senior team members
High level of organization skills, required attention to detail
Excellent planning, prioritizing and ability to meet deadlines
Follow naming conventions, and archiving files logically
High standard of computer hygiene, health and maintenance
strong interpersonal communication skills as this position is highly team oriented
Demonstrate the ability to effectively engage with coworkers, and other team members
Act in a positive and professional manner at all times
Willingness to learn new software and expand technical skill base
Duties
Create custom designs according to specifications, using plans provided by team members
Produce high quality, detailed stylistic architectural Renders from designs, using Rhino 3D, Autocad, 3D Studio Max, and/or VRay
Design commercial and residential buildings with specified products and environments according to design brief
Build relationships and liaise with team members to attain and manage an archive of plans
Follow standards and naming conventions for file management
Create Animated Architectural videos from your models using Lumion, Sketchup, Premiere Pro, or equivalent software
Model 3D Object Designs using Rhinoceros 3D and send for ACM fabrication in-house
Follow design briefs and produce deliverables on time, as requested
Communicate ideas and concepts through sketching
Participate in meetings and contribute to critiques when invited
Ensure brand guidelines are met and maintained at all levels of design
