I've bought the new Nikon Z6 II, and my Z6 body is now available for purchase. I've had it 2 years, but little use in 2020. It was primarily my 2nd back when shooting with the D850, so it has been fairly quiet. I found it excellent for very low light shooting. I had it on safari in Kenya's Maasai Mara when we came across a pair of lion cubs playing on a fallen tree at sunset. We looked for their Mom, and an hour and a half later found her engaged in a zebra hunt with the pack. Thanks to an amazing 51,200 ISO and a silent shutter I was able to capture images I could barely see with the naked eye. Here's one of them. There was no noise reduction applied, this is what the Z6 produced. at f:6.3, 600mm and 1/20 second exposure hand held, the camera's 5 dimension VR was a huge help. I chose the lion for prime focus, making their prey soft. The light is from where an hour and a half earlier the vertical sunset had occurred. To my eye it looked like total darkness.
