User Experience (UX) Visual Design Intern

The UX Visual Design Intern will collaborate with other members of the Secure Endpoint UI/UX team to create compelling and intuitive user interfaces. You’ll research, design, test, and refine your ideas with a focus on the user; and will actively participate in every step of the design process with us.

How you can stand out:

• You are in excellent academic standing while currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary co-op program pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in visual design, information design or a related field.
• You have a strong student portfolio that demonstrates an understanding of grid, typography, colour, and other visual design skills with a strong focus on digital interface design.
• You understand the role of visual design and aesthetic in the success or failure of a digital product.
• You’re excited to learn about users and actively participate in UX research activities to help refine your designs.
• You are proficient with design tools such as Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Figma.
• You have worked with design systems and understand the opportunities and limitations they bring.
• You have experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, like surveys, interviews, card sorts, or co-design sessions.
• You are curious about the world of security
