Post Content: CJL is looking for an organised, creative, problem-solver who is detail-oriented and digitally fluent to handle project co-ordination and digital communication. The remote role is a three-month contract with the potential to be longer term. This is a rare opportunity to be part of the international development field while based in southern Alberta.
Who are we?
The Corruption, Justice and Legitimacy (CJL) Program seeks to diminish corruption that undermines development and peacebuilding objectives. We are a small team of dynamic, creative individuals committed to working on social change issues in the international community. Our culture is one of continuous improvement and high standards. CJL is currently housed at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University (Boston) but the team is remote with one Director located in Calgary. Ideally applicants will be located in the greater Calgary area as regular in-person meetings will be beneficial. The contract will start no later than May 1, for three months.
What do we need in this consultancy?
The Project Co-ordinator is responsible for all project co-ordination and communication efforts in support of our Social Norms Against Corruption (SNAC) project. SNAC works to increase the integration of social norms concepts into anti-corruption programming through research and collaborations with partners such as CARE, Accountability Lab, RTI. As the newest member of our small person team, the Project Co-ordinator will be integral to operationally running the project and responsible for managing our communications strategy.
The role includes:
β’ Manage the communications calendar and work with team members to draft content and create visuals in support of digital efforts ranging from Linkedin to the website and lead online dissemination efforts.
β’ Identify and regularly report on key metrics to track success of our digital efforts including our website, blog, newsletter blast, announcement email blasts and Linkedin.
β’ Help organise and host webinars and in-person multiple party workshops/events domestically and internationally
β’ Ensure the quality of our deliverables through proofreading, formatting, citations
β’ Develop new backend processes, platforms, policies as needed
This individual needs to be detail-oriented, proactive, an excellent communicator (written English) and highly organized. They should be very comfortable with digital applications and technology. Candidates must have, at minimum, a diploma or university degree AND one-year full-time work experience in an office environment (experience and education in other countries is welcome).
