Post Content: Looking for a hands-on position in a small, dynamic company? We are a collaborative team of artists, engineers, surgeons and business experts, creating realistic synthetic knee models to change the world of surgical training. All parts of the models are manufactured and assembled in-house. As we grow, we are looking to expand our team. 

Job Description

This position will involve all aspects of production, including:
- Creating and filling molds for the bones and soft tissues;
- Producing sub-assemblies of each bone model;
- Final assembly of the knee models (for sports medicine & knee replacement); and
- Manufacturing the multi-layer skin sleeves. 


Job Qualifications

Required:
- Delicate hand skills, such as with sculpturing, mold-making
- Attention to detail
- Creative problem solving skills
- Ability to adjust to changing work requirements 

Asset:
- Experience with mold-making
- Experience working with a variety of materials
- Experience with hand and power tools


Initial job contract: 3-9 months (duration dependent on grant funding), with the expectation of a permanent position
Start date: Immediate, subject to funding
