MNG Call for Writers

Do you have a way with words? Do you go out of your way to analyze exhibitions?

If you are an aspiring art writer, or have an interest in practicing your critical writing skills, you could write for the Marion Nicoll Gallery (MNG). We’re looking for four writers to produce articles in response to an MNG exhibition from this academic year.

Submit a sample of critical writing from an assignment or personal archive, under 400 words on your artwork or exhibition of choice through the link in our bio.

Writers will be paid a professional writer’s fee of $0.50 per word up to 800 words to write an article on one of the MNG exhibitions or an exhibition at a student-run gallery that academic year. Articles will be juried and edited by the MNG Coordinator/SA Executive Director and published on the MNG website.
