Seeking Muralist For Sport Court
Parks Foundations is seeking a local artist or muralist to create a vibrant mural on the surface of one semi-circle basketball court in Brawn Family Foundation Rotary Park within the community of Hounsfield Heights and Briar Hill in Calgary. We are looking for talented artists with creative design skills and mural experience to complete the installation in Spring 2023.
The Brawn Family Foundation Rotary Park will be the first public community park designed to support youth and adolescent mental health. The park will be located just steps from the brand-new child and adolescent mental health centre, The Summit: Marian & Jim Sinneave Centre for Youth.
Parks Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring everyone has a place to embrace their outdoor life. We work directly with communities to bring park and sport projects to life, so that all Calgarians have accessible, unique, recreational, sport and green spaces in their neighbourhoods.
Parks Foundation celebrates the diversity and talent of all artists and welcomes all applicants from BIPOC, Indigenous, LGBTQIAS+, visible minorities and differently abled communities to apply.
