Post Content: Good day, this conversation, hosted by the American Friends of Sufi Arts, Culture and Knowledge (AFSACK), will feature Alexandra Baudelot, Director of the Musée d'Art et de Culture Soufis MTO™ in France, alongside visual artist Bianca Bondi, whose work is currently exhibited in Un Ciel Intérieur at MACS MTO™.
About the Event:
Bondi’s work explores the alchemy of nature, ritual, and transformation, revealing the unseen connections between material and mystical realms. Her dreamlike installations interact with the surrounding landscape, responding to the river waters and natural elements near the museum.
I had the opportunity to experience her work in person at MACS MTO last September, and I was truly captivated. Her work is elegant, inspiring, and deeply immersive. The way she uses color, organic materials, and intricate transformation processes creates a delicate yet powerful visual language that is both poetic and thought-provoking. Despite the meticulous and labor-intensive methods used to create them, her pieces maintain a sense of fluidity, beauty, and refinement, offering viewers a profound sensory and emotional experience.
