Studio Y Creations is seeking a Videographer and Social Media Guru to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, resourceful, and creative individual. You will help us make some fun, quirky, and creative videos to promote our products and our brand via social media and beyond.
Job Tasks:
-Creating a monthly social media content calendar with copywriting and photos - schedule posting via HubSpot (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Linkedin).
-Monitoring our social feeds and replying to followers in a timely and professional manner, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
-Storyboard and direct your own video ideas as well as follow our briefs.
-Collaborate with a team of marketers and graphic designers on ideas and styles.
-Follow brand guidelines and work within our existing style.
-Keep video footage organized in applicable storage locations.
-Design, source, and license required visual elements for video projects.
-Be knowledgeable of equipment, filming and editing techniques, editing software.
-Create internal marketing videos to promote our company on social media.

-Coordinate with freelance videographers/photographers in the US to get finished footage of our completed projects. (example: https://youtu.be/xmtPVA1BPgY)

Overview of Skills:
-Experience shooting video, and working with video and audio recording equipment
-Reliable vehicle to travel to and from job locations when necessary
-Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
-Ability to work on a schedule and meet deadlines
-Motivated and hardworking
-Willingness to learn new skills
-Exceptional English, both written and spoken
-Comfortable communicating with clients through social
-Seeks feedback and uses it to improve
-Able to work under sudden and changing deadlines
-Knowledge of the MS office suite of programs, including Excel
-Experience using HubSpot an asset – certification even better
-Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour - Wage negotiable based on experience.
