THE ROLE
We are seeking a Video Designer to join our team. In this position, you will enhance Monark’s content offering by transforming text-based content into compelling animated videos (3-5 minutes in length). Using content provided to you by Monark, you will apply your graphic design talents and passion for visual storytelling to help bring content to life, making it more interesting and engaging for our users. You will also have an opportunity to make recommendations on ideas for future marketing and content videos that will enhance Monark’s offering.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Background/education in graphic design;
- Experience using Vyond or a similar video editing application;
- Ability to work independently to deliver content that aligns with Monark’s brand guidelines and voice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand our brand guidelines, objectives, and users;
- Create animated videos based on Monark’s proprietary leadership content;
- Provide suggestions to improve our use of video throughout the application.
OTHER DETAILS
- This is a 3 month contract role, with expectations of 30-40 hours per week. Depending on the volume of work, there may be an opportunity to extend beyond the initial 3 month term.
- Work can be completed in-office or remotely.
