Chinatown Lamppost Banner Replacement Contest
The Chinatown BIA launched the Chinatown Lamppost Banner Replacement Contest by asking aspiring artists to submit their banner design for a chance to have their submission display on Chinatown lampposts for the next 2-3 years. The winners will have a chance to win $800 for each selected banner. Please see the attached pdf and click here for more information.
This year, we will be selecting a winning banner for three (3) different parts of Chinatown:
Centre Street and 3rd Avenue SE (retail / restaurant core)
2nd Ave SE and SW (pedestrian promenade)
1st St SW, Chinese Cultural Centre, Sien Lok Park (Chinese cultural)
