Panelists will include producers, creators, and broadcasters from the Canadian youth media industry. The webinars are free and open to students across Canada. How do you to get your projects financed? Agnes Augustin (CEO, Shaw Rocket Fund) and producers Suzanne Wilson (COO, Lambur Productions) and Maria Kennedy (Co-founder, Little Engine Moving Pictures) help answer the big questions: Who are the Canadian funding agencies? Where and how do you access the money? Joining the panel will be moderator, Kevin Wright (The Optimal Pitch).

How do you get your gaming concept pitched, funded and teamed up? How do you gamify your linear concept? Join Jeff Santos (Senior Producer, CBC Kids), Wesley Sweazey (Build Master, Budge Studios), Jessica McLaughlin (Creative Director, Secret Location), and Kent Wilson (Art Director, Ubisoft) as they share insights on content, platforms, monetization, and the best way to connect with decision-makers. Mar. 3 | We Need IDEAs! 
Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in youth media require an inclusive process from writing to development and production. What initiatives, workshops, and scholarships exist to support underrepresented creatives? What obstacles are common and what is the industry doing to mitigate them? What are some inspiring success stories? Join panelists Adam Garnet Jones (Dir. TV Content & Special Events, APTN), Georgina and Rennata Lopez (Founders, Lopii Productions), Tamara Dawit (Strategic Lead, Equity and Inclusion, Canada Media Fund) and Kay Douglas (ED of BIPOC TV and Film) at they weigh in on these topics and more. Kim Wilson (The Childrenโ€™s Media Lab) will moderate and share findings from recent research.
