Join EAR on Wednesday, November 8th at 7pm MST on Zoom for a discussion about being a musician and what you need to know!

This workshop is hosted by blues musician Tim Williams, an in demand teacher, producer and session player.


This workshop will cover:

  • Music school…necessary or not ?

  • Income streams…publishing and writers rights

  • Do I need to build a team? Managers, booking agents, publicists and more

  • Do the work…learn the history of the earlier artists whose work inspires you

  • Build a press kit that reflects who you are and who you hope to perform for

  • Showcases, valuable or not?

  • Finding your voice as an artist

 

Information about our presenter - Tim Williams: 

Tim Williams has steadily risen to the upper ranks of acoustic roots and blues performers, with a combination of vocal, guitar and songwriting skills. Learning at the feet of the masters (jamming with/opening for Lightning Hopkins, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Big Walter Horton, Honeyboy Edwards, Johnny Shines and more) , Tim has played over much of the world, and is an in-demand teacher, producer and session player.
