Post Content: We are excited to announce an open call for "Worlds in Motion" an exhibition in the upcoming 2025 Festival of Animated Objects. Puppeteers, artists, makers, and creators who explore the boundaries of fantastical worlds, storytelling, alternative futures, and interactive spaces through their work are invited to apply: https://forms.gle/hvgiG9rRZ1x5WudK6

We are seeking submissions that celebrate the artistry of automatons, puppets, and animated objects that explore visual and kinetic storytelling.

We are looking for 1 to 3 artists interested in participating in an exhibition at cSPACE Marda Loop, and possible other locations.

Each artist will be given an honorarium for their participation in "Worlds in Motion" .

Exhibition Theme:

Worlds in Motion will delve into the interplay between art, movement, and imagination. From mechanical wonders, handcrafted puppets to a variety of alternative creations. We are looking for works that invite viewers into alternate realities, challenge perceptions of the future, and create immersive experiences through interactive design. Artists are encouraged to think about how these animated creations can engage the audience, spark dialogue, and inspire new ways of storytelling.

Submission Guidelines:

-Eligibility: Open to artists, makers, puppeteers, and interdisciplinary creators of all levels.

- Mediums Accepted: Automatons, puppets, kinetic sculptures, mechanical objects, robotics, and any form of animated or interactive work.

- Exhibition Dates: March 10 to 17th, 2025.

- Location: cSPACE Marda Loop, 1st Floor Hallway Gallery.

- Submission Deadline: November 15th, 2024.

-Equity seeking artists are encouraged to apply.

-Artists who are as yet unknown to the Festival of Animated Objects are strongly encouraged to apply.
