Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer will work with the Communications Coordinator to develop and create exciting graphics for the Students’ Associations platforms.
· Employment Type: Hybrid* Part-time, 12-15 hours per week
· Contract Length: 8 months with possibility of extension
· Hourly Pay Range: $16-18 dependent on experience
· Reports to Communications Coordinator
· *Must be able to work on campus once a week
Core Objectives
· Design on-brand graphics for social media and print use
· Develop designs for promotional materials for events, campaigns, and initiatives of the SA
· Create and update assets for our website
· Design animations for reels
· Keep organized filing system of all design files
· Help ensure accessible design best practices throughout the SA portfolio
Qualifications and Skills
· Background in design, communications, marketing or related areas
· Experience or interest in non-profit artist run culture, arts education and advocacy
· Access to a computer and internet
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing your tasks
· Intermediate experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and Microsoft Suite
· Organized with files keeping and task management
· Experience with preparing files for print and a variety of digital spaces
