Printmaking as Resistance

Professional Practice Seminar Series: Printmaking In The Expanded Field is a series of three, multi-day, deep dive seminars for visual artists running from October 2020 to September 2021. Each seminar will bring together participating local artists and visiting artists, both internationally and from across Canada. Through collaborative learning, artists will develop critical discourse, examination, and new knowledge around a central theme.
Join us in the first iteration of SNAP’s Professional Practice Seminar Series: Printmaking In the Expanded Field for “Printmaking as Resistance” from October 17 to October 24. During this first professional development seminar, we will look at print’s relationship to resistance through a historical, embodied and technical lens.
