Post Content: Our new North Haven Shelter in Edmonton is now OPEN. We are seeking compassionate individuals to care for the animals being housed temporarily at North Haven. 

Minimum 2 shifts a month, Minimum one-year commitment 
Flexible Schedule 

Position Summary: In collaboration with the other volunteers on shift, ensure all cats being housed in the shelter are fed, medicated as needed and have a sanitary living space. This includes other shelter duties such as washing dishes, doing laundry and cleaning crates. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
Attend all required training sessions and orientations 
Maintain the cats living space by ensuring it is clean, including washing kennels and replacing bedding and dishes 
Feed cats in shelter according to their specific needs and as outlined on their care boards 
Washing all dishes and toys being used in the shelter 
Ensure all cat laundry is being done 
Spend time with the cats where time and protocols permit 
Follow disinfecting and quarantine protocols
