Community Grants
The Students’ Association Community Grants program provides meaningful support to students in their diverse explorations in community building, whether that be through the facilitation of a group, gallery, or community initiative. The program provides successful applicants with funding and meaningful opportunities to encourage growth at all skill levels of community building.
Applicants can apply anytime throughout the academic year. These are rolling submissions meaning there are no deadlines, but funds are limited so get your applications in early.
New call goes out at the beginning of each semester. At the end of the semester in which the grant recipient’s project has ended, you will be required to fill out the Community Grant Reporting Form and reflect on how your project with and your experience with the program.
There are no restrictions surrounding how applicant spend choose to spend the funds they receive; therefore, applicants do not need to submit a proposed budget. Successful applicants are encouraged to use their funds whichever way they feel is best suited to the work they are proposing.
Successful applicants are selected through a jury process and will be notified in early October. Applicants will receive their funds via e-transfer after signing the Community Grants Recipient Agreement.
