Post Content: Assiniboine is a locally-owned and operated small business in Calgary that has established itself as an industry leader in providing landscaping and Christmas light installation services. Within the past 10 years we have expanded our business to include property maintenance and snow removal services to both residential and commercial clients. We are looking for a customer service representative to join our team for our busy Christmas light season. This is a 3-month full time contract position and we are looking to hire immediately.
The ideal candidate is driven, customer service focused, a sales closer, and team orientated. Need a strong attention to detail, understanding of operational systems with the ability to handle a wide variety of customer situations. Includes heavy scheduling with continuous communication at office with the crews and estimators.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Answer all in-coming calls, redirecting calls as required.
- Maintain general email inbox, redirecting emails as required.
- Conducting Sales (initial contact and closing via phone/ email)
- Function as initial point-of-contact for general customer inquiries pertaining to pricing, services, scheduling, operational systems, issue resolution, etc.
- Build and maintain business relationships with customers by providing prompt and accurate service so as to promote customer loyalty and enhance company credibility.
- Preparing work orders, customer estimates, invoices, data entry and reports as required.
- Scheduling clients and co-ordinate crews; extreme attention to detail required.
- Provide administrative support to other departments as required/requested.
- Problem-solve unique situations and requests on the front line.
Qualifications and Skills
- Post-secondary education in Administration/ sales or equivalent office/administrative experience.
- 1 plus years of strong customer service/ sales experience.
- Strong computer and technical skills with Microsoft Office products; strong understanding of operation systems and data-entry.
- Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English
- Professional communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to build and maintain relationships with co-workers, clients, trades and suppliers.
- Calm, pleasant demeanour and ability to effectively handle difficult situations with customers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time, and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to handle high volume seasonal calls and emails
- Team oriented.
Contract length: 3 months
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
