Description
Peters & Co. is seeking a Media Design professional to support our Corporate Finance department with the creative and technical design of graphics and various materials to communicate team client objectives. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics and ability to render concepts and information into appealing, professional and coherent visual media.

Duties
- Provide support to the Corporate Finance department for digital and printed materials
- Desktop publishing of reports and various media for client mandates
- Creation and technical information design of original content (maps, graphics and illustrations)
- Adapt and refine existing graphics, and maintain current digital assets
- Format Microsoft Office visuals (ie. charts, diagrams) to be used in presentations and reports
- Update department-related website content as needed
- Follow company workflow / file handling standards and ensure quality control of visuals
- Engage in team ideas, suggestions and feedback catering to client objectives
- Assist with other media related tasks


Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in media design or a related field
- Experience utilizing graphic design principles (visual composition, layout, typography and
color theory)
- Portfolio link showcasing design work, technical skills, and software used
- Proficiency in Adobe CC suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Technical knowledge of digital file types, file size and resolution output and handling across Adobe CC suite and Microsoft Office platforms (vector and raster formats)
- Attention to detail and accountable to proofread actively; ensure accuracy of information in all deliverables
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and self-manage workload to meet team deadlines
- Discretion in handling highly confidential and sensitive materials and information
- Efficient time management, prioritization, critical thinking and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
