The Field Law Community Fund Program has provided $835,000 to incredible causes across Alberta and the Northwest Territories. This year, a new award will support post-secondary students in making their great campus and overall ideas come to life.

Are you a post-secondary student passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you have an innovative idea, or are you involved in a group that’s doing great things? The Field Law Community Fund Program Next Gen Award is your chance to bring your vision to life!

What is it?

  • A $5,000 award to fund a project that benefits your community.

  • The opportunity to make a real impact on your campus by addressing key student needs, such as technology upgrades, campus food banks or student legal assistance.

Who Can Apply?

  • Post-secondary students or student groups (enrolled part-time or full-time).

  • Applicants must be 25 years old or younger.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Innovation + Creativity: Does your idea offer a fresh solution to an issue?

  • Impact + Sustainability: How will your project create lasting benefits for the group it impacts?

  • Feasibility: Can your project be realistically implemented?

  • Equity, Diversity + Inclusion: How does your project promote inclusivity?

How to Apply:

  • Submit your application through the official Field Law Community Fund Program website. Applications are open from September 4 through October 3, 2024.

  • Share your project ideas and demonstrate how they will solve a problem or make an impact where it’s needed most.
