Introducing the Students’ Association Community Hub
This year our community events will be taking place virtually inside of our Students' Association Community Hub. This space will be used to host events collaboratively with our student groups and galleries, prioritizing having access to a social space where students can experience fun opportunities to connect with one another while we are all studying from home!
THE HUB - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
There will be 13 main events throughout the year, every second and fourth Wednesday of the month (completed schedule coming soon!) - themed around activities meant to promote mental wellness from home. Wednesday events will either be hosted by a group or gallery, or the SA!
The SA's events will be wellness-themed, where you can come learn a new skill, participate in a themed activity and win prizes all along the way! Beside our main events – our groups and galleries also each have their own channel in the hub that you can check in on at any time to join or see what they are up to (more specific info can be found in their channels!).
You can access the Community Hub through the Microsoft TEAMS app. Click "Teams" on the left hand column, and then click "Join or create team" on the top right of that page. You need an AUARTS account to access the TEAM - please email studentlife.sa@auarts.ca if you are having any problems finding the team! OR if you are interested in helping organize events on this platform for the rest of the year - join the events committee (also by emailing studentlife.sa@auarts.ca 😊) See you all there!
