What is Orange Shirt Day? Recognized across Canada every year on September 30th, Orange Shirt Day honours the Indigenous children forced to attend residential schools and allows us to listen and learn with an open heart and mind about the impacts and history of residential schools in what is now called Canada, and how it still affects all of us moving forward together.
