Indigenous Movie Night: We Still Live Here - Âs Nutayuneân

  • AUArts Students Association 1407 14 Avenue Northwest Calgary, AB, T2N 4R3 Canada (map)

SA Community Hub event.

Join us on Wednesday February 24th at 7 pm in the community hub general channel for Indigenous Movie Night hosted by the Indigenous Student Group! We will be streaming We Still Live Here - Âs Nutayuneân.

About the film: this film tells a remarkable story of cultural revival by the Wampanoag of Southeastern Massachusetts. Their ancestors ensured the survival of the Pilgrims in New England, and lived to regret it. Now they are saying loud and clear in their Native tongue, Âs Nutayuneân - We Still Live Here.

You could win one of two of our prizes (a 40$ gift card to a grocery store of your choice or a 40$ credit at the bookstore!) just for coming and hanging out for the evening. Big thanks to Thea Thomas who organized this event on behalf of the Indigenous student group.

We can't wait to see you all then!
