ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a freelance photographer of public art and architectural features, will be providing high quality photographs, videos/still images. These images will be utilized as a record of the finished project for media and web content. This posting is for freelance photographers based in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, and Edmonton. 

COMPENSATION
Compensation is based on experience and portfolio 

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Professional and effective communication with clients during all aspects of the media shoot including scheduling, set up and on site.
• Provide professional quality photography and video on assigned projects in your assigned region. 
• Create visually appealing and technically sound video 
• Utilize time of day, time of season and location-based decisions on when to best photograph the exterior of projects
• Edit all photography and video in a timely fashion resulting in a completed project.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary Photography Students encouraged to apply
• 2+ years practical photography and videography experience 
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to engage with people on site to create photos showing public engagement with public art and architectural feature 
• Candidates are required to submit portfolio of work supporting above listed experience
• Full understanding of best practices for Architectural Photography, demonstrating artistic vision and creativity
• Demonstrate a full understanding of manual camera settings and lighting (natural and studio)
• Possess excellent oral and written communication, as well as organizational skills
• Repetitive and frequent standing, seeing, sitting, walking, and driving 
• Holding five pounds in one hand for five minutes (photography and videography)
• Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying are necessary to perform job functions
• Must be able to work on computer and or mobile 
• Ability to conduct job duties outside in various weather conditions
