Show + Sale Writing for Selling Workshop Instructor (June 2021)

Summary:

Reporting to the Show + Sale Coordinator, the Writing for Selling Workshop Instructor will develop and host virtual information sessions on SEO and description writing for students participating in AUArtsSa’s very first virtual Show + Sale!

Responsibilities:

·       Work with the Show + Sale Coordinator to develop a 45 minute SEO and description writing workshop for participating students.

·       Educate students on the basics of SEO and using keywords to increase sales online.

·       Instruct students on how to the new Excel template to upload product listings onto Shopify

·       Host a virtual workshop in May. Session will be recorded for students to reference.

·       Answer questions students may have about SEO, keywords, hastags, and description writing for e-commerce platforms.

* Please note that this position is virtual and applicants need not have access to AUArts facilities.

 

Qualifications:

·       Experience with copywriting, social media marketing, SEO, and e-commerce platforms.

·       Excellent planning and organizational skills with close attention to detail and function

·       Previous experience with public speaking and/or instruction

·       Passionate about educating students on how to sell their artwork online

·       Self-motivated individual who can effectively prioritize

·       Previous experience with e-commerce platforms, including Shopify an asset

 

Terms:             

·       April 2021-May 2021 (virtual)

·       An honorarium of $200 will be provided

·       Schedule to be determined with Career Development Coordinator
