CAUSE Canada is seeking a temporary full-time Information Design Intern to join our team. In this exciting role, the Information Design Intern will work collaboratively with diverse colleagues in Canada and across the organization. The successful candidate will learn and hone their communication skills and, under the mentorship of the Communications Coordinator, develop skills to communicate with diverse and specific audiences using print, digital and written tools. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to important projects that will build their portfolio for future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Playing a key role in the research, design and implementation of important communication pieces such as the annual report, fundraising campaigns, and other exciting projects.
- Working to create strategies to reach existing and new audiences with CAUSE Canada communications in print and digital forms.
- Creating graphics, infographics and other design pieces as required.

Qualifications:
- This position is available as part of the Canada Summer Jobs Grant program and as regulated by the grant, applicants must be between 15 and 30 years of age and a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected persons under the Canadian Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and legally entitled work in Canada.
- Ability to work within a Christian framework and sensitivity to its various expressions across cultures and denominations.
- Working to complete or completed Undergraduate degree or Diploma in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent experience. Strong communications, marketing or community engagement experience or a combination.
- Excellent writing and communication competencies
- Detail oriented and experienced with design and print production of reports and newsletters
- Advanced time management, planning, and follow through
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
