Post Content: Mixed Sweet Media (MSW) is a full-service marketing agency located in Calgary, specializing in cannabis marketing. Our services include web development, graphic design, photography, videography, social media management, brand creation, market strategy & more.

We provide our clients with high quality, value-added services, maintaining their marketing activities to ensure success in both the B2B & B2C space. Our clients consist of cannabis retail brands, retail stores, distributors, packaging manufacturers, licensed producers, e-commerce & educational platforms.

This is a great opportunity to join the growing MSW team for the role of Content Creator, a critical part of the services we provide clients. This is a full-time, permanent position, reporting to the Marketing Director. The successful candidate will focus on building on-brand graphic, photo & video content for our clients & their brands.

Responsibilities

-Deliver photography, videography, and graphic design content for client’s social media channels, websites, email campaigns, and other various marketing channels.

-Plan, design and send email campaigns for MSW clients using Campaign Monitor & HubSpot

-Assist in brand creation through graphic elements

-Working with team to assist in brainstorming and planning content for MSW clients

-Adhere to marketing calendar, creating content in advance of scheduled post date using Business Suite and other software

-Understanding and following cannabis guidelines for social media platforms

-Creating photo, video, and graphic design content that follows the Cannabis Act

-Designing and facilitating on-brand client print materials and merchandise


Requirements

-Post Secondary education in Design & Photography or Marketing

-1 to 2 years experience in photography, videography, and graphic design

-Knowledge and experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn

-Have proficient experience in photo, video, and graphic design software such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, In-Design & After Effects.

-Previous experience using Dragon Frame is an asset

-Able to travel to clients to shoot content

-Formal cannabis education is a bonus
