Post Content: Since 2003, Applied Research and Innovation Services (ARIS) has been acting as the research arm of 
Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), one of Canada’s top research colleges. Using 50,000 square feet of specialized lab space located at the heart of Calgary and more than 60 research staff, ARIS provides a wide range of research and innovation services to industries in Alberta and across Canada. 

The Centre for Innovation and Research in Advanced Manufacturing and Materials (CIRAMM) is ARIS’ newest centre dedicated to advanced research in the areas of manufacturing, materials, and product development. CIRAMM is currently in search for a motivated student marketing coordinator. Below is a summary of the job description and required qualifications. Position type: Paid - currently budgeting right now

Job Type: P/T with the possibility of F/T

Job duties: 
• Collaborating with internal teams on marketing strategies to increase awareness of CIRAMM’s 
capabilities to students, clients and partners
• Create brand identities for outreach, promotional projects
• Design and create engaging marketing literature (brochures, educational zines, takeaways, etc.)
• Create promotional and educational videos 
• Identify marketing trends and key opportunities of innovation
• Conduct market research and analyze data accumulated from outreach events
• Compose and maintain social media presence for CIRAMM
• Organize promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns – attendance required to 
ensure success
• Documentation of projects, equipment, presentations
• Aid in creating and presenting a variety of reports 
• Collaborate and communicate with composites lab lead to strategize innovative ways to engage 
with students, promote healthy relations and coordinate events
• Liaise with SAIT’s marketing team

Required Qualifications:

Must to have:
• Proven experience in marketing and understanding marketing principles – present portfolio
• Proven leader in innovative and creative design processes
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software, Adobe suite
• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Well organized, good presentation skills
• Can work both independently and collaboratively

Nice to have: 

• Website design and development experience 
• 3rd or 4th year student
• Experience with online analytics
• Experience working with event coordination
