Rewinding the Tape: VOLUME 2
The Hear/d Residency is calling for submissions to our lens/photo based exhibition as part of the Exposure International Photography Festival.
Exhibition dates: February 6th – 16th at the Marion Nicoll Gallery (MNG) at AUArts
Rewinding the Tape shows the courageous journey of artists exploring their mental health through their art. After all, rewinding the tape is the first step to moving forward. Rewinding the Tape explores the process of fragmenting and studying one's story to make sense of it. Breaking patterns, stereotypes and self destructive behaviours require the courage to explore one's looped narrative. It requires finding where we got stuck and starting the painful process of untangling the threads of our stories.
Applications are open NOW - January 23rd, 2023 via this form. All AUArts students making photography and/or zines related to mental health and resilience are encouraged to apply!
