Job Description

· Record operational or production data on specified forms.
· Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
· Operate or tend machines to mix or blend any of a wide variety of materials, such as oils, lye, fragrance, colorants or food products.
· Transfer materials, supplies, or products between work areas, using moving equipment or hand tools.
· Measure, weigh, mix and blend ingredients as per instructions on formulations.
· Add or mix chemicals or ingredients for processing, using hand tools or other devices.
· Read work orders to determine production specifications or information.
· Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands to ensure conformance to established standards.
· Unload mixtures into containers and large tanks for further processing.
· Compound or process ingredients according to formulas.
· Tend accessory equipment, such as mixers, cutters, pumps or dishwashers required to produce products.
· Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.
· Clean and maintain equipment such as molds, blending equipment and cutters.
· Dislodge and clear jammed materials or other items from machinery or equipment, using hand tools.
· Update software with batch information and monitor inventory levels of base ingredients.

Must be willing to sign a Non-disclosure agreement.

Must successfully complete WHMIS certification (employer will cover the expense of online course)
