We are seeking a part-time talented digital artist to create designs that are to be tested and painted with our robots. As a digital artist, you will work closely with our engineering and product teams to create stunning and visually appealing designs that can be executed by our painting robots. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and artistic skills in a novel environment. Responsibilities will include:

- Create digital designs for painting robots that are visually appealing and can be executed by our painting robots.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to learn and improve the usability of our digital painting product.
- Research and implement popular art styles and experiment with the applicability of different styles to our robotic output.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the product team to develop new concepts and ideas.
- Research and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in digital art and painting robot technology.

What we are looking for

Baseline:
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator (specifically the brush tool) and Krita or willing to adapt to these tools
- Deep understanding of art trends and popular styles.
- Strong understanding of colour theory and composition.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice to haves:
- Interest in start-ups
- Previous marketing or customer relations experience
- Interest in tech, NFTs, blockchain, digital art, etc.

This is a paid position, $18.75 per hour, for 15-20 hours per week.
