YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre is seeking an assistant in the conceptualization, research, and development of exhibits in a museum/non-profit setting. Approximately 40% of this job will be focused on research in support of possible low and high tech exhibit interactives including games, touch screens, puzzles, virtual reality and other options.
Research findings will be presented to a team using appropriate presentation software and demonstrations, where appropriate. Approximately 25% of the job will involve contributions to design proposal packages. 25% of the job will involve design of text panels, editing of photographs, and minor carpentry and repairs to exhibits. The remaining 10% of the job will focus on video projects including assisting at video shoots, editing and post-production.

Approximate timeline for the project: Nov-March
Approximate start date of the project: Nov. 16
Compensation: $17/ hr
The position is made possible by Young Canada Works funding and is specifically for a new graduate. Current students are not elligible. This is a 35 hr a week position.
